Our Programs
Imani’s Village, previously For The Village Inc., is a not-for-profit organization committed to enhancing birth outcomes for mothers and babies in the Black community in response to the alarming rates of infant and maternal mortality within Black communities. Our village is made up of five different programs established to connect, engage, and help our community: Birthworker Program, Family Connections Program, Lactation Certification Program, Volunteer Program, and the Community Group Connections Program.

BIRTHWORKER PROGRAM
At Imani’s Village, our Birthworker cohorts are the heartbeat of our organization providing exceptional service to our families.
TRAINING PROGRAMS
Imani’s Village offers a number of different training opportunities for individuals who are committed to serving birthing families.
FAMILY CONNECTIONS
Through our family connections program, Imani’s Village is proud to provide free doula services to Black birthing families.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Imani’s Village welcomes the opportunity to partner with different community organizations on different initiatives.
